Ok, the painting&weathering process is almost finished. Only some weathering in the green areas is needed to fade and stain them.
Now a summer break to make other things... a winter tank maybe. :)
Alucinante la pintura Diego. Creo que has superado incluso la del FW-190 lo cual ya era un reto. Has seguido el mismo proceso? Un saludo desde El Escorial y aupa Atleti! Antonio.
El proceso es basicamente el mismo pero más elaborado, usando los productos de weathering de AK además de los óleos. Un saludo Antonio. Aupa Atleti! :)
Hi Antoine, The base color is Alclad White aluminum. The dark panels are shaded with Tamiya Smoke using masking tape. Finally the weathering is made with black and white oil paints for dark an light some zones; and AK weathering products ("Dust effects" for weathering the aluminum , "Track wash" and "wash for NATO vehicles" for the leaking streaks)
Hello, I would really love to know how you did that splatter/staining rain-stain like effect on the bare metal? IT'S ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! Never in my years of modeling have I ever seen a better and more realistic metal finish! Please explain if it is not too much to ask for.
Looking great so far! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Diego!
