A new update on this project. The avionics compartment behind the cockpit fitted much better than the cockpit, both from Aires. I only added some wires.
The windshield and canopy detailed and painted only in the inner side, so far. I used Eduard photoetched sheet and some scratch pieces.
At this point the model is ready to paint the main landing gear wells and assemble the wings.

Amazing work, from what you make the cables and wires behind the cockpit(red and yellow ones)?
ReplyDeleteHi Stanislav,
ReplyDeleteThe cables are made with 0.3 and 0.4mm thin lead wire (from Plusmodel)
Thank you, Diego!
ReplyDeleteCan you please tell me the paint type and the exact name of the Mig cockpit colour , or on most modern Russian Air Force planes /Helos please
ReplyDeleteTamiya
Modelmaster ????I need advice here gang
I didn´t use any premade color. I made a mix of white, blue and green from Tamiya until match with the photos I had. It is pretty easy. To paint this color is better to prime the cockpit in glossy white before applying the cockpit color. Otherway it may look too dark.
DeleteHola.
DeleteMuchas gracias a tí :)
Muchisimas gracias por su rapida respuesta.
DeleteEnhora buena por tal belleza y buen acabado.
Un cordial saludo
