The Mig-21 chronicle (6).

Ok, the painting&weathering process is almost finished. Only some weathering in the green areas is needed to fade and stain them.
Now a summer break to make other things... a winter tank maybe.  :)

Has seguido el mismo proceso?

  5. Hola Digeo !
Your work is fantastic on that aluminum. By any chance, could you explain how you proceeded ?

  6. Hi Antoine,
The base color is Alclad White aluminum. The dark panels are shaded with Tamiya Smoke using masking tape. Finally the weathering is made with black and white oil paints for dark an light some zones; and AK weathering products ("Dust effects" for weathering the aluminum , "Track wash" and "wash for NATO vehicles" for the leaking streaks)

    Thanks for your words.
