The "Aggressor Viper" work: Tamiya 1/48.

An excellent Tamiya release. The only thing I don´t like is the mould line along the canopy pieces, I hate to polish transparent parts. I also used a hard to fix -as usual- Aires cockpit, the Voyager photoetched nozzle, the Tamiya detail set for the pitot probes and structure reinforce panels and the Afterburner Arctic Aggressor decal sheet.. The landing gear was detailed with wires and styrene pieces. Painted with Tamiya acrylics and weathered with several layers of oil paints and graphite to get the different effects. The final touch was applied with Model Air satin varnish.
The beautiful "Blue Flanker" aggressor scheme is really eye-catching.

    Great Model, i love the Weathering all this shades in the Colors of the Camouflage, very nice.

    Yes, I also think that the weathering and the different tinges are the key to make the model not to look like plastic.

    Hello Diego and congratulations for your models, they´re really impressive!!!

    I would like to ask you a question regarding the painting. I saw that after you painted the kit, you used some type of wash to give its faded look.

    How did you do that? Is that the pin wash? I mean, it is not a wash with just one color, but more than one.

    Your help would be wonderful!!

      Hi Wolney,
      The model has several washes and other oil techniques depending on the zone. On the wings, for example, I applied very diluted washes with brown, ochre and black. I also used diluted ochre and brown to apply some filters on the central fuselage panels. ¿is that what you needed to know?

      I decided to add a fifth model to the book instead of only four so the thing is delayed. I think that the Spanish edition will be ready in December as well as the English edition, I hope.

      Hi Periklis,
      The light blue is a mix of 60 parts of X-2 white and only 1 part of XF-8 blue.
      The medium grey is a mix of 20% H325 and 80% H68 both of Gunze´s Hobby Color.
      The dark blue is a mix of 40% XF-8 Blue, 40% X-2 white and 20% XF-60 Dark Yellow.
      I also apllied a primer layer with X-2 white so the colors keep the luminosity.
